A working trip of the Russian delegation to Italy took place from 18 to 20 December. The delegation included:

On December 18, a working meeting was held at the office of the Association “Humanity inside the war”, where they discussed issues of further cooperation. A meeting with representatives of the anti-fascist movement in Italy and the Director of the UNESCO office in Udine took place at the office of the Association “Humanity inside the war”.
On December 19, a meeting with the Deputy mayor took place at the city hall in Dinner. Told about the activities Of the Fund “Zur Art” and “International Union Womens”. We discussed possible issues of cooperation between our countries and the implementation of projects in Russia and Italy.

On December 20, we visited the Redipulla War memorial dedicated to the fallen soldiers of Italy and the Queen of Peace Church.
Then we visited Gorizia and visited a memorial dedicated to the dead journalists in hot spots.

We visited the small town of Medea-a comune in Italy, located in the region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, in the province of Gorizia. Met with the mayor of the commune Alberto Bergamin. Visited The Ara Pacis Mundi National Memorial. This impressive memorial is dedicated to all Italian soldiers who fell in the first and Second World wars (with an emphasis on the latter). In the center is an urn that stores land from 800 military cemeteries around the world, as well as bottles of water from places where the wreckage of Italian ships is located.
At the University of Udine, we met with the teaching staff of the Russian language Department and discussed further interaction and communication in solving and implementing joint projects between Russia and Italy.
