Friend and foe are bound by death! Military cemetery of Brazzano. Italy.

During a working trip, the organizing committee of the International Children’s Drawing Contest “Humanity inside the war” visited the military cemetery of Brazzano (Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region, Italy), where Russian soldiers are buried.

Here are the graves of 150 Russian servicemen from the First World War.

The delegation included :

  • Professor Paolo Pascolo is the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the International Competition . Founder of the association “Humanity inside the war”. Honorary Member of UNESCO (Italy)
  • Alfiya Amirova is the President of the International Women’s Union, a member of the organizing Committee of the International Competition, a Partner and an Honorary member of the Italian Association” Humanity Inside War“.
  • Marat Shakirzyanov-General Director of the Zur Art Foundation, Partner and Honorary member of the Italian Association “Humanity inside War”, Official representative of the Italian Association “Humanity inside War” in Russia and the CIS countries, Coordinator of the International Children’s Drawing Contest “Humanity inside War ” in Russia and the CIS countries.

The cemetery is properly cared for. The iron crosses were replaced with stone tombstones. Russian graves of unknown Russian soldiers are also watched by the residents of Brazzano, and schoolchildren lay flowers every year.
